WHAT MAKES FREELI SO AWESOME?
Freeli meals taste like they came right off your stove at home. They’re made with wholesome, real ingredients like antibiotic-free meats, real cheese, veggies and whole grains, but never any artificial flavors or preservatives and no added sugars. They’re nutritionist-optimized for balanced, sustained energy, and they’re 100% yum.
HOW ARE YOUR FOODS MADE?
We make them in a big kettle with wholesome ingredients, from delicious recipes, with no fake stuff ever. Plus, we cook our recipes at temperatures that don’t destroy the nutritional value of the food.
WHERE CAN I BUY FREELI?
Freeli can be purchased on our website and at select Kroger stores in Cincinnati, Dayton, Lexington, Louisville, and Nashville. Go to our Store Locator to find a store near you.
WHERE IN THE STORE CAN I FIND FREELI?
You can find Freeli in the refrigerated section alongside other grab-n-go packaged foods.
ARE FREELI FOODS PERISHABLE?
Yes, these are fresh foods so they need to be refrigerated until you’re ready to heat and eat (or heat and pop in a Thermos® for later). If you’re putting Freeli in a Thermos, it should be consumed within 6 hours and you should discard any leftovers.
IS THE FREELI POUCH BPA FREE?
Yep! If you’re looking to reduce the amount of BPA plastic you bring into your kitchen, you can breathe a sigh of relief: Our pouches are BPA-free.
ARE THE POUCHES MICROWAVE SAFE?
Absolutely! You can pop our pouches in the microwave to heat them up (be sure to remove the cap first). We’ve even given our pouches “cool zone” corners so they’re easy to take out of the microwave. Make sure the food in the pouch isn’t too hot before giving it to your kids.
CAN I RECYCLE THE POUCH AFTER I’M DONE EATING?
Yes! Our pouches are currently recyclable through our partnership with TerraCycle®. Get a pre-paid envelope for your pouches here.
AFTER I OPEN A FREELI POUCH, IS IT OKAY TO PUT IT BACK IN THE FRIDGE FOR LATER?
If you’ve heated it, you need to eat it within 6 hours. If you haven’t yet heated it, reseal the pouch with the cap and eat within 2 days.
HOW DO I TRANSPORT A FREELI POUCH IF I’M GOING TO EAT IT WHILE I’M OUT AND ABOUT LATER?
Good question! We’ve got two ways for you: If you’re going to heat it up in the microwave later, store it with an ice pack until you’re ready to heat and eat. If you’re going to heat it up before you leave home, just pop the pouch in a Thermos® after it comes out of the microwave so it stays hot until you’re ready to eat. Please consume within 6 hours of heating.
HOW DO I HEAT A FREELI POUCH?
For eating right away, heat it in the microwave for about 45 seconds (you may need more or less time depending on wattage of your microwave). You can also microwave for about 2 minutes and then put it in a Thermos® to eat later.
CAN I FREEZE A FREELI POUCH?
Yes! Be sure to freeze your pouch by the Enjoy By date. Simply place in your fridge to thaw and heat as recommended on the package. Be sure to consume within 24 hours of thawing.
DOES FREELI HAVE GLUTEN-FREE OPTIONS?
Yes! Burrito Bowl and Chicken Teriyaki are gluten-free.
DO YOUR PRODUCTS CONTAIN ALLERGENS?
For information on a specific Freeli product, see the ingredient statement on the pouch or on our website. We do use dairy, wheat, and egg in some of our flavors. In addition, the facility we use processes tree nuts, peanut, egg, dairy, shellfish, fish, soy, and sesame.
HOW DOES YOUR SUBSCRIPTION PROGRAM WORK?
By signing up for a subscription, you will always have quick, nutritious meals ready to go in the fridge. We offer several delivery schedules as well as the option to customize your box. You can update your subscription at any time by logging in to your account.
WHAT WILL I GET IN MY FREELI VARIETY PACK?
In the 20 pouch variety box you will get: 4 Mac & Cheese, 4 Pasta & Meat sauce, 4 Chicken Noodle, 4 Chicken Teriyaki, and 4 Burrito Bowl. In the 10 pouch variety box you will get: 2 Mac & Cheese, 2 Pasta & Meat sauce, 2 Chicken Noodle, 2 Chicken Teriyaki, and 2 Burrito Bowl. You can always customize your box and pick your favorite flavors.
HOW LONG WILL THE FREELI POUCHES I RECEIVE STAY FRESH?
Pouches ordered through our website will usually have 30-60 days until the “Enjoy By” date.
CAN I CREATE A CUSTOM BOX?
Yes! You can customize both the 20 pouch box and the 10 pouch box. Go to our Shop page and simply choose ‘Build Your Own” on the “Choose a Box type” drop down menu.
HOW WILL MY BOX SHIP?
Your box will be shipped in insulated packaging with reusable ice packs and will arrive cold. Be sure to immediately pop the pouches in the fridge. If your pouches are not cold when you open the box, please contact us at [email protected]
WHEN WILL MY BOX SHIP?
We currently ship orders Monday through Wednesday for deliveries Tuesday through Saturday. Your first order ships 1-4 business days after receipt.
All subsequent subscription boxes will ship at the frequency you selected. You will receive an email letting you know when your next box is about to ship.
WHEN WILL I GET BILLED FOR EACH SHIPMENT?
Your billing cycle will be set by the date you place your first order. You will be billed on or around the same date for all shipments.
HOW DO I CHANGE MY SUBSCRIPTION?
It’s easy! You can log into your account at any time to change your subscription.
CAN I CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION AT ANY TIME?
Yes, you can cancel any time before you are billed for the next box. To cancel or make changes to your subscription, please log into your account.
CAN I RUSH MY ORDER?
Unfortunately, orders cannot be rushed.
IS FREELI AVAILABLE TO SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
No, at this time we do not ship internationally.
WHAT’S THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?
You will receive an email confirming your order and an email with tracking information once your order ships.
WILL MY BOX BE DELAYED DUE TO COVID-19?
Due to an increased demand, some orders may be delayed. Thank you for your patience.
